1 Tom on 17 Jun 2008 asked :
" "SYNCBLASTER RGB2C COMPONENT TO RGB TRANSCODER EURO"
will this convert the component signal from my AV amp to the RGB scart on my old 32” sony CRT television?
The reason I ask is that I have connected my Sky + and DVD recorder directly into the TV’s RGB scart using new component RCA – Scart leads but cannot get a picture even after setting their outputs to RGB. I think the TV has a 100hz screen which might be the problem or it could be that I need RCA component – RGB scart leads but I’m not sure if they exist!

Keene replied: The reason a cable would not work is that you have component from source and scart RGB at destination.RGB requires a composite sync which the component output does not provide. Hence no picture. The RGB2C and APT2 were both designed for this scenario.
