1 Simon on 13 Jul 2010 asked :
"I bought a pair of these 6 months ago and the results are much better than my previous powered Bluedelta set up. I now want to replace the Bluedelta equipment and wondered if these wall plates can be daisy chained? i.e. I want one of these wall plates to act as the master and service two separate wall plates which will act as the receiver. This means that I will punch down two sets of CAT6 cable to the back of the master. Will this faithfully reproduce the signal to both receivers?"
Keene replied: The audio would work OK but the because the video is a 75R feed you
would loose half your signal if you split the output to 2 receivers.
Same problem when passively splitting any video output.
Results in a dark and slightly jumpy picture.
It would be better to use a video distribution amp at the source and
send down 2 WALLPLATE pairs
2 Simon on 09 Dec 2009 asked :
"This looks a very interesting product! Can I connect two different video sources to each end of the link? I want to connect a DVD player as the source upstairs and Sky downstairs. It means the TV upstairs can view Sky and the TV downstairs can watch the upstairs DVD. Of course it will have to be mono audio."
Keene replied: Yes you can do this.
