The first of the new Aptus range of in-line video signal convertors from Keene, that are designed for easy connection and simple operation. The Aptus 1 Is an RGB to component video convertor. Its built using the same high quality components as the RGB2C but is much simpler to set up. It will convert RGBs (set top box RGB with composite sync) into component (Y Pb Pr) video. Its a simple scart plug design with 3 x RCA phono output for the component video. There's also a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack to provide audio output if required.

Had a similar device from Js Tech. Picture was unstable not sure if it was faulty. A friend recommended Keene and this unit so far has been very reliable.

Keene replied: Yes it is. You just need to make sure the Sky box is set to give RGB out.

Keene replied: No You would need our RGB2C for a bi-directional version. The APT2 will convert from component to RGB scart. Please not the Apple TV would need to be set to 480i or 576i.
