The standard frequency IR receiver for use with Keene equipment with IR capability such as:
IRCM IR commander matrix.
IRBKIT IR distribution amp kit.
C5QCA Video & audio over CAT5 system.
C5QDA Video & audio splitter over CAT5 system.

Supplied with 1.2m cable. Depending on the distance between the amp and the receiver you may need an extension cable:

KLD40 3m extension
KLD405 5m extension
KLD4010 10m extension

This receiver covers the 36KHz to 40KHz bandwidth and is compatible with the vast majority of infra red systems.

It can also be supplied with different housing depending on your requirements:
IRSP built into a standard single gang pattress with frosted plate.
IRPMR built into small housing for panel mounting. (Black)
IRPMRW built into small housing for panel mounting. (White)
IRPMRB built into a small housing for panel mounting.(brass)
IRPMRC built into a small housing for panel mounting.(chrome)

If your equipment requires a wider frequency range than the standard 36kHz - 40kHz, we also have the wideband IR receiver to cover the frequency range of 20KHz to 120KHz.

Keene replied: 48mm l x 34mm w x 14mm h . It is not available in black

" I have a Sony STRDA 3200ES AV receiver which has an IR remote 3.5mm jack - will I be able to use my remote to operate the amp through this reciever, as the one on the front of the amp is blocked by other kit."

Keene replied: This won't work as it's designed to work with the Keene IR distribution amp kit unless you can find out what voltage the input on the receiver requires as we have a unit called KEENE IR RECEIVER ADAPTOR MODULE order code (KRECA) and this allows our receiver to plug in direct providing that the AV receiver requires 5 to 12v.

Keene replied: Yes this is possible using the correct splitter. Order code KA109.

Keene replied: No it is not. if you connect this to our IR module you could then connect the module to you Xantech. Order code for module is KRECA.

Keene replied: It will run up to about 10m with a 3.5mm jack cable or you could use our KA175 adaptors and use cat5 up to around 40m possibly 50metres.
