Westcliff Film and Video Club (WFVC) meets at Wyburns School in Rayleigh, Essex on Monday evenings from September until May, from 8 till 10.30pm.
The club has a very relaxed atmosphere where all are welcome. Very experienced movie makers are on hand to offer advice and encouragement. We have a large screen projector to view films on which is very impressive. The club year is a mix of workshops, lectures, hands on evenings, competitions and social events. There is something for everyone from the virgin video camera owner to the seasoned campaigner. Films made by club members include, travel, documentary, drama, animation and multimedia presentations. Recent successes included winning the IAC North Thames Region competition (2005).
