Options

- Determine whether the activity LED should pulse during normal operation. Maybe it bothers you? if it does then turn it off!
- This unit is a target / receiver / standalone. As it says, change the mode of the module to suit your needs. See "Overview" for a full explanation of each mode.
- Search for target. By default a receiver module will attempt to locate a target module to send IR commands to. Depending on your needs you might want to disable this feature.
- Attempt to locate PC – This is important if you want to either “learn IR code (for a receiver) or send learnt IR code (for a target). If you don’t intend to use the PC during normal operation this is best left unchecked.
- Autoconfigure with DHCP. When plugged into a router with DHCP support (almost all routers support this) the modules will communicate and assume a router assigned IP address. See "IP Addresses" for more detail.
- Enable DDNS – Tells the module whether to use the information stored in the “set up DDNS” tab (see below)
