Frequently Asked Questions and Answers (1)

Q: I have the IRBKIT and want to use an input from 2 different rooms. In the frequently asked questions for the IRBKIT it states that a KA109 can be used to split the input signal but on the description for the KA109 it states that it shouldn't be used for this purpose. Could you please confirm whether it is possible to split the input signal to enable me to have a receiver in 2 different rooms and whether the KA109 is suitable. Thanks.

A: It can be used but we don't recommend it. The results are often mixed as the amp does not really have sufficient power to drive more than one receiver. If you need more than one receiver we recommend our IRPKIT see link:-
