I had a few problems with this when It first arrived but Keene's technical team told me a few things to try and now it works perfectly with all my equipment. Keene's after-sales and technical department are at a standard other companies should aim for. (Posted on 21/10/2014)

I've been looking for ages for an IR extender to work with my virgin box, because it's IRDA instead of IR non seem to work. This one does, along with the rest of my kit. (Posted on 21/10/2014)

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers (8)

Q: I want to control 3 devices which are located in my av rack, from 3 IR receivers. this question was asked in a previous post. The answer was that you can only connect 2 IR receivers, and recommended the IR commander. The commander unit does way more then i need and is beyond my budget. Will the unit simply not work with 3 IR's, of is it just not recommended? Many thanks Jason

A: We will have to update this answer thanks for pointing it out. At the time this was correct but you can now use three receivers using the splitter for the IR input below:-
Q: Is a cable to connect with the "Kira" included or how can I order one?

Posted On: 22/06/2011 By: Michael Hobelsberger

A: It is not included. You would need the KLDE6M cable Web link below:-
Q: Can I connect 3 IR inputs to IRBKITE distribution amp via something like the KA109 splitter?

Posted On: 11/04/2011 By: Shane Jager

A: Yes using the KA203. Web link:- We no longer recommend the KA109 as they can be intermittent. If you needed more IR inputs it would be best to use the IR commander matrix web link below:- Also please note IRBKITE has a European mains supply the UK version is IRBKITS or IRBKIT.
Q: KEENE IR DISTRIBUTION AMP KIT (EXCL. IR RECEIVER)" Can I have/combine 2 std receiver (inputs) to go into this unit?

Posted On: 19/03/2011 By: Chris

A: Yes but you would need to use the KA109 on the IR input on the amp. Web link below:-
