Q: Is there any limitation on size of house? (I live in a 5 bed house) Thx

Posted On: 14/01/2017 By: Russell P Johns

A: The device is designed to run on a single phase and is capable of being used on separate ring mains which should cover a whole house no problem. There is a limit in Range of max. 300 metres according to the instructions.
Q: 1. Is there any news of additional receivers to use with one transmitter? I would like the option to watch HD in two separate rooms from one transmitter. Some competing systems do offer this capability. 2. Is it possible to control two devices (say Sky HD and also a Blurry player) connected to the transmitter? Will this need the purchase of a twin output IR Transmitter cable? Thank you

A: 1. Unfortunately you can only use these systems as a pair, we have tested and can confirm this. 2. The transmitter has two inputs, so two devices can be used and can be switched via the TX/RX or via the IR remote. There is one blaster emitter supplied with the kit
Q: Does it transmit 4K ? I have a problem with my Onkyo amp being 40 feet from my 4K tv ,the hdmi will only handle 1080p over 40ft so I need a solution,cat5/6 ?

Posted On: 12/08/2016 By: Peter brennan

A: There is no mention whether it's 4K compliant. If you are trying to send a 4K signal then you would need something that is 4K HDCP2.2. I would think running it over cat6 would be a better option
Q: Does this system and the Gigaview 821 support CEC / HDMI / Bravia sync? My Sky+ HD and BD player link to my Sony amp and then to my main TV. So I would put the transmitter between the amp and main TV and hopefully still retain the HDMI control features. Another piece of kit I recently tried did not allow HDMI control so was sent back.

A: No sadly they do not support CEC. Sorry about that.

A: Yes you would require two sets.
