The Vividstorm Phantom Recessed Drop Down screens allow you to mount your UST projector screen in the ceiling - due to the recessed design.
The Phantom series ALR screen is designed for 4K & 8K Ultra HD, HDR Ready and 3D Active so will give you your optimal viewing experience with your chosen UST projector and be suitable for future UST Projector technology. The screen has a special optical sawtooth structure and a light-rejecting filter to give a stunning performance in an environment with ambient light. Unlike the traditional projection screen, UST ALR material is able to present the image in bright light from a ceiling light. It has removed the foggy phenomenon you usually experience in light rooms by rejecting >97% of ambient light.
The screen has 0.6 gain with high contrast meaning deeper blacks and better colour quality. Images are reproduced without the hot-spotting of other screens that rely on high gain to overcome ambient light. The UST Laser projector projects a picture from the bottom of the screen, because the ultra-short focus ambient light rejecting screen material uses a special optical serrated structure and a light suppressor. The picture projects directly onto the special light plate, reflected in the eyes of the viewer, this screen is more manipulative than the ordinary diffuse screen with more accurate control of the projector.
With a nearly perfect viewing cone of 170 degrees, the UST ALR material is capable of being viewed from extreme off-axis positions. Even if you have watched the screen for a long time, your eyes will not feel tired. The screen is tab tensioned to guarantee a flat and stable surface for your image to be projected on. This ensures a quality viewing experience and stunning image quality.
This electric drop down screen is controlled wirelessly by remote control or via it’s USB wireless trigger which is inserted into the projector for an automatic switch when the projector is turned on. A drop-down projector screen is an ideal solution when a free-standing projector screen is impractical. This makes it perfect for commercial environments, large living and family rooms, and everything in between.
